1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, you are the parent or legal guardian of any child whose profile you create, and you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of service
Mirror Story provides AI-generated personalized stories for children to help them process emotions and real-life situations. Stories are generated using artificial intelligence and are for entertainment and educational purposes only. Mirror Story is not a substitute for professional mental health care.
3. Parent responsibility
You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must supervise your child's use of stories generated by Mirror Story. You are responsible for ensuring the situations you describe are appropriate and accurate. You must not use the service to generate inappropriate content.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Free plan: 3 stories per month, resets monthly. Pro plan: $7.99/month, billed monthly, unlimited stories. Payments are processed by Stripe. Cancel anytime — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
5. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to: • Use the service for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to generate harmful, violent, or inappropriate content • Share your account credentials with others • Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our service • Use the service to harm children in any way
6. Content and AI
Stories are generated by AI and may occasionally contain errors or unexpected content. We review and improve our AI systems regularly. Stories are for personal family use only and may not be republished or distributed commercially.
7. Disclaimer
Mirror Story is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that stories will be therapeutically effective. We are not mental health professionals. If your child is experiencing serious emotional distress, please consult a qualified mental health professional.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mirror Story shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
